For some reason after installing the software and then the Volume License its asking to be activated before I can use word.

What are you unzipping with? It came up with that error when I tried to unzip with Archive Utility, but the ‘Extract Any File’ (free in App Store) let me.

I just installed it on MacBook Air M1. Double click on the installer first, once that is complete, double click the license package. Dont open Office until the license is installed and it should work fine!
